In 2011, the European Commission launched the Environmental Technology Verification Program (ETV) to improve the inclusion of innovative environmental technologies in the EU and global markets.
The purpose is to provide information on new environmental technologies by verifying that the performance statements submitted by the developers are complete and based on reliable test results.
WETNET successfully completed its ETV course in June 2016, within the European project of the same name.
WETNET Statement of Verification declares that the system has a “capacity to detect anomalous operating conditions (within 1 day) and losses (within 3 days), thus allowing to reduce the duration of losses and to optimize monitoring and active control of the volumes put on the net “.
The ETV certification helps to build a reliable business relationship with potential customers and investors.

CE CERTIFICATION
The CE marking is:
- a certification mark indicating compliance with health, safety and environmental protection standards for products sold within the European Economic Area (EEA). The CE marking is also found on products sold outside the EEA which are manufactured or designed to be sold in the EEA.
- the manufacturer’s declaration that the product meets the requirements of the applicable EC directives.
- a symbol of free marketability in the European Economic Area
